- Swimming athletes from Zambia won 52 medals at the just completed CANA Zone 3 competition, placing them fourth overall.
23 swimmers from Zambia competed at the Championship, where they came in fourth with 1,878 points.
52 medals totaled, of which 18 were gold, 21 silver, and 13 bronze.
On a total of 3,061 points, hosts came out on top.
Teams from South Africa, Uganda, Rwanda, and Ethiopia participated in the competition.
