According to African Milling, mealie meal prices will soon stabilize as millers get the 250 000 metric tonnes of maize supplied by the Food Reserve Agency (FRA).
According to African Milling General Manager JOMO MATULULU, his company is currently charging between 165 and 167 kwacha for a 25-kilogram bag of mealie meal.
According to Mr. MATULULU, the FRA’s release of maize has made it easier for his company to supply mealie meal to all areas of Lusaka.
