In connection with the destruction of property at Lusaka’s City Market Bus Terminal, five persons have been detained.
This came about after a gang of 10 individuals, who ranged in age from 21 to 42, caused damage to 25 minibuses.
Today in LUSAKA, police deputy public relations officer DANNY MWALE confirmed the information to ZNBC News.
According to Mr. MWALE, the altercation took place yesterday at the bus station around 14:30 hours after the suspects allegedly told one of the bus drivers NOT to park in front of a specific store.
Then, he claimed, the suspects attacked one of the drivers, who was only given the name NYAMBE.
According to Mr. MWALE, several bus drivers suffered significant injuries while attempting to save their colleague.
Nonetheless, he has revealed that a manhunt has been started and that five suspects are still at large.
