In the southern province’s Kazungula district, a bulking center for agricultural products has been established in the territory of Chief MUSOKOTWANE.
Local farmers have expressed excitement over the establishment of the Kabuyu Multi-Purpose Centre under the Strengthening Climate Resilience in Agricultural Livelihoods in Agro-Ecological -SCRALA- project.
The bulking center, which was established at a cost of 131,000 dollars, will shortly be put into service, according to Kazungula District Agricultural Supervisor CATHERINE BWALI.
In order to increase the value of maize and other field crops, according to Ms. BWALI, a grinding mill will also be erected at the center.
