AKA died with his friend Tibz

AKA and his friend, Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane were shot and killed by two unknown gunmen in Durban.

The rapper whose real name was Kiernan Forbes was said to be heading for his car with his friend who is popularly known as a chef and creative when bullets were sprayed at them.

Kiernan reportedly died after 5 bullets hit him; his friend too died at the same spot.

“It was not a drive-by shooting. AKA and Tibz were killed by two suspects who walked towards them from across the street, and shot them from close range,” a police officer revealed to eNCA.

South African celebrities who are familiar with both personalities have taken to social media to mourn them.
