AKA’s album, Mass Country has been released

Tracklist for AKA’s album, Mass Country has been released. Since the rapper died, his social media account has been active with details about his album, funeral and memorial service. The Forbes family has chosen to continue the legacy of the rapper, hence they released his collaboration with Kddo titled Company.

It was also reported that his album will be released on the set date which is 24th of February. The 14-track project features his girlfriend, Nadia Nakai, Sjava, Blxckie, Yanga Chief, Nasty C, and a few others.

The family continues to celebrate the life of their son. To honour his legacy, they are choosing to continue with the release of the Mass Country album on 24 February 2023 as planned,” the statement read.

In the last two years, Mass Country has become AKA’s entire world. The Supa Mega constantly kept the album release momentum and anticipation high. According to Nivo, manager, and co-executive producer, AKA put his “heart and soul” into the project. The rapper also had the “opportunity to map out this entire roll-out and approve all the elements,” he continues.

Minister of Police Bheki Cele has revealed why he did not go to the murder scene of slain South African rapper, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes also known as AKA, following his high-profile shooting on Friday, 10 February.

AKA was fatally shot with his friend, Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane outside Wish restaurant on Florida Road in Durban. Bheki Cele has been urged to crack the case and find the people responsible for the rapper. Learn more
