Anthony Bwalya, the presidential spokesperson, has been appointed as the Deputy High Commissioner at the Zambian Embassy in the United Republic of Tanzania by President Hakainde Hichilema.
Patrick Kangwa, secretary to the cabinet, made the announcement in a press release.
Mr. Bwalya’s appointment to the diplomatic service, according to Mr. Kangwa, is effective right away.
Since 2021, Mr. Bwalya has worked as the White House spokesperson.
Mr. Bwalya’s effort as State House’s spokesperson has been acknowledged by President Hichilema, he said.
Mr. Kangwa stated that when Mr. Bwalya begins his new position in Tanzania, the President is confidence in his capacity to provide the best possible service to the Tanzanian government and the people of that country.
