In order to participate in the US-Africa Leaders’ Summit, President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has arrived in Washington, DC.

Discussions with the US Council on Foreign Relations are among the side activities that President HICHILEMA is anticipated to attend today.

Additionally, he will participate in a discussion with a few African heads of state from Zambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Niger, Mozambique, and Ghana.

The President will also have a conversation with the chairperson of the African Union about the need to advance and capitalize on long-term peace and security initiatives in order to promote inclusive economic growth for all citizens.

Later on in the day, the President is anticipated to attend a dinner event sponsored by Senator CHRISTOPHER COONS, who serves as co-chair of the Congressional International Conservation Caucus Foundation.

The International Conservation Fund (ICCF) is a platform that promotes the preservation of natural resources through strategic alliances and extensive knowledge exchange among decision-makers and a wider network of partners.
