The three local by-elections for local government that are set on April 20, 2023 saw the arrival of ballots throughout the nation on Tuesday.
Three wards—MUCHINDA in Serenje, CHITIMUKULU in Chililabombwe, and KATILYE in Lupososhi District—will have by-elections.
The Emirate airplane carrying the ballots landed at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at 14:30, according to ECZ Corporate Affairs Manager PATRICIA LUHANGA.
The verification of the votes will take place on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the ECZ Head Office in LUSAKA, according to a statement made by Ms. LUHANGA to ZNBC News.
