The President’s Cup tournament, which will draw four teams from each of the ten Provinces, will be introduced by the Zambia Basketball Federation (ZBF) in October of this year.
The event, according to ZBF General Secretary RODRICK NDHLOVU, will be the first of its type and will provide teams from each Province a chance to showcase their abilities.
According to NDHLOVU, the competition will complement the leagues and the National Championship.
The victor of the Men’s National Basketball Championships final between the Munali Suns and the Matero Warriors, according to NDHLOVU, will play for their nation this year at the Africa Club Basketball Championship.
