Harare, Zimbabwe – A student from Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE), known on Instagram as Audeng Dee, has recently captured the attention of social media users after a video of her enjoying herself went viral.
The video, which initially surfaced on Telegram, quickly spread across various platforms, sparking widespread discussions and reactions online. Bindura University, located in Bindura, Zimbabwe, is highly regarded for its dedication to excellence in science education. Established in 1996, the university offers a broad spectrum of programs through its faculties of Science Education, Science and Engineering, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Commerce.
With a mission to produce highly skilled graduates who can drive development in Zimbabwe and beyond through science and technology, BUSE has continually evolved its academic offerings. Notably, it became the first university in Zimbabwe to introduce a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Optometry.
The institution has also embraced digital innovation by partnering with organisations such as Digitally Smart, offering students digital marketing certifications and professional diplomas to boost their employability in today’s competitive job market. The University has come under the spotlight after a naughty video of Audeng Dee with her lover went viral on social media.
The viral video of Audeng Dee has ignited conversations around student life and the challenges of privacy in the digital era. While some have condemned the leak as a violation of personal space, others are reflecting on the broader realities students face in safeguarding their privacy amid the ever-expanding reach of social media. At this time, the university has not issued an official statement on the matter.
As the conversation unfolds, the incident underscores the delicate balance between online freedom and personal privacy in our increasingly connected world. But the serious question many are asking is who did the video end up on Telegram? But then again we have no one to respond to this. As for Audeng Dee we noticed that her Instagram seems to be deactivated for now. More to follow.
