The Zambia Metrology Agency’s new board of directors, which will be led by MUSAMALA NYIRONGO, has been unveiled by the government.
The Minister of Commerce, Trade, and Industry, CHIPOKA MULENGA, who unveiled the Board in Lusaka, stated that Zambians should be given the proper products, both in terms of quality and quantity.
Since then, Mr. Mulenga has given the new Metrology Board a mandate to take initiative and see that the government’s pledge is kept.
MUSAMALA NYIRONGO, the recently appointed Board Chairperson for the Zambia Metrology Agency, pledged to ensuring that the Agency runs effectively and transparently.
HUMPHREY NKOBENI, the acting executive director of the Zambia Metrology Agency, expressed optimism that the Board’s abundance of knowledge and experience will benefit the Agency and aid in its continued success.
NALITUBA MWALE, THANDIWE MBEWE, ALICK MUVUNDIKA, ROBERT LITUNGU, ELIJAH MAHAMBA, and BENSON BANDA are other Board members.
