A business regulation center is being established in Mansa District by the Business Regulatory Review Agency (BRRA).
The Center will, among other things, help to lower the cost of conducting business, according to BRRA Director General SHARON SICHILONGO.
Speaking to officers from all 12 local authorities in Luapula Province during training, Mrs. SICHILONGO said that councils are crucial to business regulation.
Additionally, Provincial Local Government Officer VINCENT CHABALA reaffirmed the dedication of the local authorities to fostering investment.
Local authorities are being trained by BRAA and the Ministry of Justice on validating and approving business regulations and licenses.
