The Chongwe Municipal Council has approved a budget for 2023 totaling K110 million.
During the Special Council meeting that took place in Chongwe last week, the budget was approved.
According to CECILIA MUSONDA, the public relations representative for the Chongwe Municipal Council, the local government has granted 28.3 million kwacha to the projects funded by the Constituency Development Fund.
According to Mrs. MUSONDA, the local council has also set up 32 million kwacha for projects promoting economic and business growth.
