To accommodate the expanding population in the Zone, the Lusaka South Multi Facility Economic Zone (LS-MFEZ) is building a police station and a health post.
Following increased investments, the Zone will house about 100,000 people, according to LS-MFEZ Corporate Affairs Manager ALICE SCHULTZ.
Such a population, according to Ms. SCHULTZ, will require security and medical facilities.
In an interview with ZNBC news, she stated that the Zone had seen the creation of roughly 28 thousand employment.
