Three suspects have been detained by Lusaka police in relation to the death of a 10-year-old kid who vanished and was later discovered dead in a corn field in the Emmasdale neighborhood.
Chikondi Banda was reported missing last year and was discovered dead in a corn field in Lusaka’s Emmasdale neighborhood.
Several locals who were harvesting corn came over the juvenile’s body.
Also, three individuals have already been detained, according to a statement made by police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale.
The suspects, according to Mr. Mwale, were all apprehended last night at around 21:00.
Although investigations are underway, he stated that a thorough statement will be released at the proper time.
“We have arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of Chikondi Banda. The suspects were all picked last night around 21:00 hours,” he said.
