JOHN CHITI, Technical Advisor on Disability Issues and Commissioner of the Police Service, has demanded harsher sanctions against those who intended to sell a 17-year-old student with albinism in the Western Province district of Mongu.
Mr. CHITI called the circumstance regrettable.
He finds it disappointing that instructors, who are supposed to protect children, are among those engaged.
According to Mr. CHITI, who spoke to ZNBC News, the police should make sure that all members of the syndicate are charged with crimes.
