Public Service Employees have been cautioned by Cabinet Secretary PATRICK KANGWA to cease misusing public funds.
Additionally, Mr. KANGWA declares that he will not put up with misconduct in the public service.
He thinks that disciplinary proceedings ought to be swiftly handled and concluded.
At the induction of the Human Resource Management Committees for Ministries in Lusaka today, Mr. KANGWA made this statement.
A significant step in the decentralization process, according to him, has been the development and induction of Human Resource Management Committees in government institutions.
The creation of Human Resource Management Committees, according to Civil Service Commission Chairperson PETER MUMBA, comes at a time when the public is urging the Public Service to step up its efforts to improve service delivery.
