The Women and Youth Empowerment Grants under the Constituency Development Funds – CDF have benefited 135 groups and cooperatives in Mangango Constituency in Kaoma District.
As all Clubs and Cooperatives that requested funding for women’s and young people’s empowerment under the 2022 CDF allocation have benefited, this signifies the completion of the exercise in the constituency.
For individuals who did not participate in the exercise this year, Kaoma District Commissioner KASHINA SHEBA has highlighted the importance of making sure they do so the following year.
However, Mrs. SHEBA expressed dismay when she learned that one of the earlier recipients was said to have divided the funds among themselves after accessing them without conducting any business.
