A delinquent and gay Facebook user from Lusaka will spend the next three months in jail watering cabbages for bringing sewage behavior to the Zambian internet arena.

Fredrick Chulu, commonly known as Mr. Lee’s Employee, will have to pay K130 in retaliation for his filthy words, as determined by the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court on accusations of using insulting language, in addition to the free but required vacation.

Last May, the ill-mannered Chulu, flush with Chinese pocket cash, purchased a So Che data bundle, signed into Facebook, and nearly pierced the ears of his fans by broadcasting a video with disturbing unprintables.

The Chulu’s actions, according to the police, were likely to disturb the peace or arouse hostility.

When he remarked, “Kuipa pamatako vima Zambians, uchita monga nichiimbwa kapena nichikolwe, atase kuipa monga nichikolwe, chimutu monga matuvi,” in three different videos posted on social media, he disturbed the public peace.

Chulu was found guilty this morning, and after his conviction, he pleaded for the court’s pity in his defense and promised never to create another disrespectful film again.

“I am sorry I offended everyone and I will never make such videos. I regret my actions,” said Chulu.

In her judgment, magistrate Mwenya said :”I have taken note that the accused is remorseful but the video seems to have disturbed public peace… to deter others from using such language that cause moral decay I will fine him and also send him to jail. I hereby order that you pay a fine of K130 and I sentence you to three months imprisonment effective today.”
