DJ Fresh reflects on the genesis of his DJing career. The South African DJ, real name Thato Si did a throwback this Thursday by sharing an old photo of himself as a DJ. He further told the story of how he dumped Law school to become a DJ at a young age.
“18 years old. Rocking parties with cassette tapes, like nobody my age!! Scared to death that they expect me to go to Law school soon, but my heart is not there at all. As fate would have it, and God having the sense of humour that she does, got my first radio gig when I was 19, sealing my DJ fate for good!!! IT WAS WORTH IT,” he wrote.
