About ten firms will visit Zambia the next week to evaluate investment potential in, among other economic sectors, agriculture, infrastructure, and renewable energy, according to SAANA HALINEN, the ambassador of Finland to Zambia.
The enterprises will participate, according to Ms. HALINEN, in the Finland Business Week scheduled for February 23–24, 2023.
She claims that during the event, Finnparnership will represent 10 more Finnish companies looking to connect with Zambian companies.
The purpose of the Finland Business Week, according to Ms. Halinen, who spoke to journalists during a media briefing in Lusaka, is to strengthen business and trade ties as well as cooperation between the two nations’ private sectors.
A circular economy market analysis will also be introduced during the 2023 Business Week, according to GARETH EVANS, Chief Technical Advisor and Team Leader for Accelerated Growth for Small and Medium Enterprises in Zambia (AGS).
According to Mr. Evans, the program will feature meetings between businesses and governments, as well as the Emabssy.
