The high number of cataract patients in the Western Province’s Lukulu District has been lamented by the Zambian Flying Doctor Service.
Many locals, according to Head of Delegation FRANCIS NSAMA, have eye issues.
According to Dr. NSAMA, this is the reason the agency sent a surgeon to Lukulu to supplement the work already being done by the ministry of health.
He told ZNBC News that the prevalence of dental issues is also high in the region.
Five days of free medical care are being offered in Lukulu by the Zambian Flying Doctors Service team.
