Four people have been detained in Lusaka for allegedly having medical goods worth K2.8 million that were allegedly stolen from the government.
The four people, who also include a driver from Chipata Level One Hospital, were detained as a result of a tip from the general public, according to CRETO KAANZA, the provincial police commissioner for Lusaka.
He has clarified that the driver’s home is where all of the medical items were discovered.
Two laboratory technicians and a female general worker from the Chazanga facility are among the others detained, according to Mr. KAANZA.
