The 2022 Zone Six indoor Championship has gotten off to a good start for the Green Buffaloes Men’s Volleyball team with a 3-0 victory over Red Skins of Lesotho.
On the opening day of competition, Buffaloes became the first Zambian clubs to experience triumph in the male division.
And in an interview with ZNBC Sports News Club, Head Coach LACKSON MAZUMBO remarked that a winning start gives the team a boost going into subsequent games.
PRISCAR MHURU, the coach of the Black Mambas ladies club from Zimbabwe, stated that the team’s advancement to the semifinals will be a bonus for them as they compete in their first tournament.
Additionally, Zone Six Referee MAHAO NQOSA has urged his fellow officials to maintain their openness throughout the campaign.
