The growing amount of unlawful mining in the nation worries the Geological Society of Zambia (GSZ).
According to society president BORNFACE NGU’NI, unlawful mining is costing the nation money.
And Mr. NGU’NI claims that the government must expose those posing as geologists.
Meanwhile, a geologist named FRANCIS TEMBO has urged kids to major in geology.
On March 31, 2023, the Geological Society of Zambia will hold its annual General Conference. The two were speaking at a press conference prior to that event.
