Zambian athletes based in Turkey have been contacted by the country’s sports minister, ELVIS NKANDU.
According to Mr. NKANDU, the government communicates often with the players and their clubs.
The government is prepared to act if things get worse, he added while assuring the players of their safety.
This happened after the landslide that struck that nation and a portion of Syria on Monday morning.
In a video call made by the Minister, Copperr Queens defender MARGARET BELEMU reaffirmed their safety.
