The government has referred to information claiming that a plane intended to transport the late president EDGAR LUNGU to Chililabombwe has not been cleared as false.
According to the report, Mr. LUNGU was traveling to CHILILABOMBWE for the funeral of former Foreign Affairs Minister JOE MALANJI’s father.
THABO KAWANA, the director of information and media, claims that the Civil Aviation Authority, the National Airports, and the Zambia Air Force are all unaware of the development.
Since then, Mr. KAWANA has warned those who distribute false information frequently on social media to stop doing so because it is against the law to do so.
