In Lusaka, the Ministry of Agriculture has stepped up its preparations to combat army worms.
107 Block and Camp Officers in the Lusaka Province have received training from the Ministry of Agriculture, according to CHIZUMBA SHAMPANDE, Director of Agriculture, to assist fight army worms.
When the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) presented insecticides and army worm traps for the province of Lusaka, Mr. SHAMPANDE was speaking.
Additionally, PASCAL CHIPASHA, the agricultural coordinator for the province of Lusaka, stated that the provided traps and herbicides will be crucial in the early identification of the fall army worms.
