HH Converses With Officers From The World Bank

Today at the World Bank’s headquarters in Washington, DC, President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA met in private with representatives of the organization.

David Malpass, the president of the bank, was one of the representatives.

STANLEY KAKUBO, CHIPOKA MULENGA, and PAUL KABUSWE, the ministers of commerce, foreign affairs, and international cooperation, accompanied President HICHILEMA.

Officials from the State House and the Ministry of Finance’s Permanent Secretary in charge of Budget and Economic Affairs, MUKULI CHIKUBA, also attended the World Bank meeting.

Victoria Kwakwa, vice president of the World Bank for the Africa region, and Samuel Maimbo, chief of staff, were also present at the meeting.

In the meantime, President HICHILEMA met with ALICE ALBRIGHT, the CEO of the Millennium Challenge Corporation.

President HICHILEMA attended the U.S.-Africa Leaders meeting, which ended yesterday. He arrived in Washington, DC, on Monday for a series of engagements.

President HICHILEMA attended bilateral discussions with collaborating parties and representatives of the US administration throughout the week while deliberating in a number of sessions.
