Zambia’s first-ever Telecom Congress will be held at Huawei, a top international supplier of ICT infrastructure and smart products. The “Lighting up ICT for Zambia Digital Life” event intends to investigate ways to support the nation’s technological needs and hasten its development.

The conference will take place at Lusaka’s opulent Ciela Resort on April 13 and 14. In order to share and exchange ideas on various issues affecting the business, it will bring together carriers, government regulators, and ICT industry players.

The event, according to Huawei Managing Director Ms. Bette Chen, is a copy of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), which is held yearly in Barcelona. Huawei will present the most recent developments in the fields of IT, digital transformation, home broadband services, and 5G industry development.

ICT innovations like 5G, cloud computing, and AI are accelerating innovation at a greater rate than ever before. Along with its partners, Huawei would like to investigate how it might help Zambia satisfy changing demand and open up new economic opportunities.

Over the course of its more than 18 years of operation in Zambia, Huawei has provided integrated solutions in four major areas: telecom networks, IT, smart devices, and cloud services. The business is dedicated to offering secure, competitive, end-to-end portfolios of goods, solutions, and services to every person, every household, and every enterprise.

Huawei works to empower people, improve home life, and spark innovation in businesses of all sizes through open engagement with ecosystem partners. This provides lasting value for its customers.
