Lack of infrastructure Impeding Agricultural growth In North Western

309

The North Western Chamber of Commerce and Industries has urged the government to spend money on infrastructural improvements that will help the province’s agricultural sector produce more.

According to MUKUMBI KAFUTA, president of the chamber, the government should build infrastructure, such as feeder roads, to boost the expansion of the agricultural industry.

According to Mr. KAFUTA, the province’s lack of support infrastructure has prevented the agriculture sector’s potential from being fully fulfilled.

In an interview with ZNBC News, Mr. KAFUTA further urged the government to concentrate on building infrastructure to support small-scale farmers, who are finding it difficult to make a profit from their farming operations.
