In the Mandevu Constituency of Lusaka, there are leaks and clogs in the sewer system.
A ZNBC News crew checked the Chaisa and Marapodi neighborhoods and discovered wastewater spills running into the yards of the inhabitants.
Additionally, Chaisa Ward 23 councilwoman RUTH PHIRI claims that certain locals’ sewer network vandalism is to blame for the predicament in her neighborhood.
Ms. PHIRI adds that Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company has been contacted to investigate into the situation.
Additionally, several locals claim that the condition is unsafe for their health and unclean.
