AKA’s younger brother, Steffan Forbes took to Instagram to seemingly express his feelings after losing his brother via a post on Thursday 22 June.
AKA’s younger brother Steffan Forbes has not posted on his Instagram feed until Thursday 22 June when he shared two snaps of himself. Steffan may have posted on his Instagram Stories, but his last post prior was a birthday tribute to his older brother.
Taking to Instagram, Steffan seemingly expresses the grief he is dealing with as he mourns the death of the slain rapper. AKA was shot dead outside of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February. In his post, he reflected that the feeling seemingly of losing someone never disappears.
“It’s not a feeling that disappears, you must learn to live with it,” he wrote.
Prior to this post, Steffan shared a photo of AKA on his birthday in January.
“A light for me and so many. Happy Birthday bro ♾️,” he wrote.
AKA replied in the comments section: “love you bro.”
This comes after Steffan’s niece — daughter of DJ Zinhle and AKA, Kairo Forbes penned a sweet Father’s Day tribute to Steffan along with Murdah Bongz. This year was Kairo’s first Father’s Day without her dad, she dedicated a sweet post to all her “daddys”. Kairo’s Instagram account, where she has a whopping 1.3 million followers, is believed to be run by AKA’s mom Lynn “Glammy” Forbes.
She started by acknowledging that she celebrates AKA everyday. Kairo then thanked her mom DJ Zinhle for “making it possible” for her to have the best time with some of her “daddys”. This included DJ Zinhle’s soon-to-be husband Murdah Bongz and AKA’s brother Steffan Forbes. Take a look…
