Lukulu Building Using Cdf Classrooms And Teachers’ Houses

The leaders of Western’s Lukulu District have committed to replace all mud- and poll-built school structures with contemporary construction.

The LAYSON MALYACHILA, chair of the Lukulu Council, reports that work has already begun to replace the mud-built homes and classrooms of the teachers.

According to Mr. MALYACHILA, the projects are carried out with the help of the constituency development fund.

In Lukulu, he told ZNBC News that it is unjust for children to learn in such a setting in rural areas.

According to Mr. MALYACHILA, his team not only constructs contemporary classroom buildings but also furnishes them with desks.
