An unidentified group of individuals petrol bombed a home in Lusaka’s Mtendere Compound, seriously injuring a 20-year-old male.
Around 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, CEPHAS GOMA was inside the burning home with his sister and his 5-year-old niece.
All of the homes’ belongings were completely burned to the ground when a ZNBC News crew arrived on the scene.
The three family members who were inside the burning home were saved thanks to some quick thinking neighbors.
A container of gasoline that was found on the scene, according to Lusaka Province Police Commissioner CRETO KANZA, is believed to have been used to set the house on fire.
According to Mr. KANZA, police have launched investigations to guarantee that individuals responsible for the act are held accountable.
