The mayor of Livingstone, CONSTANCE MULEABAI, has counseled prisoners at the Livingstone Correctional Facility to prioritize skill development while incarcerated.
When they are released from prison, Ms. MULEABAI claims that skills they learned while incarcerated will allow them to take use of the Constituency Development Fund – CDF.
When she presided over a musical performance put on by the Zambia National Christian Choir and Orchestra, or ZNCCO, she made this statement.
Ms. MULEABAI has expressed gratitude to ZNCCO for providing food to the prisoners.
The musical concert is intended to use music to teach the word of God to prisoners, according to ZNCCO Livingstone Chairperson CHARLES MUSONDA.
According to CORNWELL MUDENDA, the officer in charge of the Livingstone Correctional Facility, stakeholders must work with the correctional system to help the offenders change.
