The National Pension Scheme Amendment Bill 2023 was signed into law by President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA, which was applauded by the Zambia Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU).
According to ZCTU Secretary General Joy Beene, the law will let workers to invest in firms.
According to Mr. BEENE, the development will also promote economic growth and lower the high levels of poverty in the nation.
According to him, a partial withdrawal will help handle workers’ ongoing bank borrowing, according to ZNBC News.
