The National Pension Plan Modification Bill, 2023, which aims to give members access to pre-retirement benefits, has been introduced by the government in the parliament.
This afternoon, the bill was introduced in parliament by the labor minister, BRENDA TAMBATAMBA.
The present NAPSA ACT does not permit members to access a portion of their contributions prior to retirement.
The Rural Electrification Bill 2023 and the Controlled Substances Bill 2023 are two further proposals that were introduced in parliament today.
