There won’t be any contracts for projects to be carried out under the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), according to CHRIZOSTER PHIRI, a member of parliament for Kabwe Central.
Contractors from neighboring towns are not allowed to come into her district and steal money for CDF, according to Ms. PHIRI.
She has questioned how businesses from other towns are able to influence the Kabwe local government to give them more than two contracts.
After inspecting the land intended for the construction of a mothers and visitors shelter at Kabwe Central Hospital, Ms. PHIRI made this statement.
