The manager of programs for the Network for People Living with HIV, ERNEST CHIBUYE, has asked for greater awareness of the injectable anti-retroviral medication Cabotegravir.

The injectable ARV will be delivered to the nation in October of this year, according to the Ministry of Health.

On the 13 Hours News bulletin, Mr. Chibuye stated that the introduction of injectable ARVs is a significant step forward for the nation in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

He claims that the introduction of injectable ARVs will also aid in boosting adherence among HIV-positive individuals.
