The Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) and the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission’s notice costs for mergers and acquisitions have also seen fee reductions from the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, and Industry.
The government’s goal to making conducting business in Zambia as simple and as friendly to business as possible made the decrease of fees under the two statutory bodies necessary.

According to a statement given to ZNBC News by Mr. MULENGA, the government is still dedicated to seeing that policies and measures that would lower the cost of doing business in the nation are put into place.
