The creation of the Presidential Delivery Unit, or PDU, won’t duplicate any ministry or special advisor to the president positions, according to Information and Media Minister CHUSHI KASANDA.
At a news conference, Ms. Kasanda responded to journalists by saying that the PDU aims to hasten the implementation of high priority government programs and initiatives.
The Unit, according to her, would also act as a watchdog, addressing false information and disseminating what the government is doing.
