Rapper AKA shot dead in drive-by shooting

Another person, who is thought to be AKA’s bodyguard, was also injured. A third unnamed individual, who is said to be AKA’s close buddy, was also shot and killed.

AKA was reportedly killed in a drive-by gunshot while he was standing outside the Wish Restaurant.

The rapper was allegedly shot at by two unidentified cars.

confirmation was received from several police sources that rapper AKA had been killed by gunfire.

Just before 10 o’clock, there was a shooting.

When journalists arrived to the location on Friday night, police had already blocked off the area.

AKA had been outside Wish when he was shot, according to shocked restaurant goers who spoke.

Florida Road has been closed off following the shooting incident on Florida Road, where two persons have been confirmed dead, according to Garrith Jamieson, a spokesman for ALS Paramedics.

A “renowned rapper” was reportedly among the dead, according to Jamieson.

At this point, it is unknown who the second victim of gunfire was, however it is believed that he was an intimate friend of AKA.
