The government has finished selecting the top prospects for employment in the Defense Force.
On February 24, 2023, the names of the applicants who have been shortlisted will be made public in print.
During a press conference in Lusaka today, Defense Minister AMBROSE LUFUMA stated that the shortlisted candidates are currently undergoing security and information verification.
According to Mr. LUFUMA, frantic attempts are being made to publish the names of the applicants who have been shortlisted on time.
The Minister has urged candidates to maintain their composure until the Government completes the hiring process.
To fill the 5,000 open spots in the Zambian Army, Zambian Air Force, and Zambia National Service, more than 200,000 people applied.
