Kanyama Compound residents in Lusaka have lamented the unavailability of potable water in several areas of the neighborhood.
The locals have admitted to ZNBC News that they have been forced to consume contaminated water for a while.
Additionally, a ZNBC News inspection of the Kanyama site revealed water pouring from certain Kiosiks that was clearly brown in color.
The Kanyama constituency member of parliament, MONTY CHINKULI, says his office is aware of the issue but hasn’t yet spoken with the Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Utility Company about it.
