The increased livestock theft in the area has been lamented by the locals of Chief Chitoshi’s neighborhood in Lunte District of Northern Province.
The absence of police presence and the bad cell network connectivity, according to the locals, are the main causes of the recent wave of crime.
Additionally, Chief CHITOSHI of the Lungu-speaking people claimed that he frequently ruled over instances involving livestock theft.
The traditional chief claimed that in addition to using public resources, he had also been hunting out the offenders.
