The load shedding exercise has been reorganized by ZESCO Limited such that each outage lasts a maximum of six hours.
This means that the daily load shedding period of 12 hours will be divided into two segments of 6 hours each, with intervals in between.
The new timetables are effective immediately until further notice and are designed to provide clients some relief.
The electric utility business claims that both print and electronic media will publish the new schedules.
This is in accordance with a statement made by the corporate affairs department of the utility business.
