On the Copperbelt, in Chililabombwe, robbers stole into two shops and made off with electrical equipment and other important items worth thousands of Kwacha, killing one person in the process.
The body of SYLVESTER MUSONGO, 58, a security guard at Vakalema Enterprises, was discovered this morning tied up and with his face covered with a black cloth in Chililabombwe’s industrial district.
VALENTINE KABWITA, the complex’s owner, told ZNBC News that he learned of Mr. MUSONGO’s murder from one of his employees who went to switch shifts with him.
And PEACEWELL MWEEMBA, the commissioner of the Copperbelt Police, has verified that Mr. MUSONGO was killed and added that an investigation has been opened.
