When it comes to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, striker JUSTINE SHONGA says he is prepared to play for the Chipolopolo should Coach AVRAM GRANT request his services.
The former Orlando Pirates star is ready to don national team uniforms once more and support the team in realizing its goal of making it to Africa Cup after missing the previous three editions.
Every player, according to SHONGA, aspires to represent their country and earn a spot in prestigious competitions like the World and Africa Cup.
The NKWAZI football team goal scorer told ZNBC News in an interview that he is now working to be in shape so that he can perform at his highest level.
And with five goals under his belt since returning to the local league in 2017, SHONGA claims he is adjusting despite Nkwazi’s recent struggles in the Super league.
The striker promises to work hard to keep the team from being relegated.
